About DJD Rentals
A lighting tower hire specialist — one thing, done properly, from a depot just north of Stratford-upon-Avon to sites across the UK.
Who we are
DJD Rentals hires tower lights. Not a general plant yard with a few lights at the back — lighting towers are the whole business.
That focus shows in the small things: units go out fuelled or charged and are positioned by a driver who sets lighting towers up every day; refuelling and checks are scheduled rather than left to chance; and when a customer says the site is next to housing, we already know the answer is a hybrid unit and not a diesel set with the throttle turned down.
We're based at Marraway Farm, Snitterfield, just north of Stratford-upon-Avon — which puts Warwickshire, the West Midlands, Worcestershire and the Cotswold edge within a short run, and most of England and Wales within a day. Local jobs get short-notice response; further afield we plan delivery into a window and build a service schedule for the hire.

The fleet
Three kinds of unit, chosen to cover the sites we actually see.
Hybrid lithium tower lights
Battery-powered for most of the night with a short engine run to recharge. The unit for anywhere near housing, tents, sound or people — and the one that needs the fewest fuel visits on a long hire.
Diesel LED tower lights
The workhorse for compounds, car parks, highways and open sites. LED heads on a tall mast cover a large area from one position and use far less fuel than older metal-halide sets.
Tripod and task lights
For the work rather than the site — inside structures, in yards and bays, around the areas a towed unit can't reach. Hand-carried and set up in minutes.
Who we work for
Contractors, event organisers, site and facilities managers, production companies and anyone else with a site that's dark after four o'clock.
