Who we are
This website is operated by DJD Rentals LTD, Marraway Farm, Snitterfield, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0PR. Email rental@djdrentals.com, telephone 0845 544 3163. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry or quote request we collect the details you give us: your name, company, phone number, email address, the site postcode, dates and anything you write in the message. We use them to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go on to hire from us, to manage the hire.
We also record which page of the website the enquiry came from and, where present, the campaign parameters in the link you followed. We use this to understand which parts of the site are useful.
Our lawful basis is that these steps are necessary before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the business.
Where your enquiry goes
Enquiries are emailed to our team and recorded in our customer relationship management system, which is hosted in the UK by our software provider on our behalf. Both are used only by DJD Rentals staff.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a hire are kept for up to two years so we can pick the conversation back up if you come back to us. Records of hires are kept for the periods required by tax and company law.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the contact page embeds a Google map; both involve a request to Google's servers, which may set their own cookies. See our cookie policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email us and we'll respond within one month.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We'll update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
